If I have Week or Month selected, and I’m searching a few weeks or months back or in the future, and then I click Today, I would see the Week or Month view, but that which includes today’s date…. rather than going to the single Day view on today’s date.

In other words, if you are in the week view, the label would say “This week” and take you to the current week. Same for the month with “This month”. The interval button currently exists within the calendar view, but I'm suggesting that this be a quick link when nagivating Staffing, My Schedule, or any Reports.
