We often receive requests to have roster reports separated by manager, and having a specific filter value for manager in Assembled would assist in these requests.

Wouldnt that be the Team filter?
Go into Configure, Team Attributes, Teams, add in your supervisors, then go to Manage Team, People Management, click edit on an agent, then add the supervisor to the team option. Then when filtering on areas, just add the Team filter.
