Filtering in the staffing timeline for "groups" of events

For large customers, they may have 100+ events. Using the filter event functionality is time consuming and painful without "groups" of event types.
To start, you can't filter by "all chat events" or "all time off events".
Additionally, it would be great to filter by custom groups. Maybe the customer wants to group all "training" events for example and filter on those.

Another related use case is selecting specific employees associated with a group of events. For example, a manager may want to find all employees assigned to training, review the filtered list, select 10 specific people, and then update their skills or schedules in bulk.
Filtering by event groups such as “Trainings,” “Special Projects,” or “Company Events” would make this workflow much faster, especially for larger customers with 100+ event types. Ideally, the filtered results would also support checkbox selection so users can choose individual employees without manually entering each person’s name.
