This is also important for accurate calculations on Time Off requests. Currently, when an employee requests a day off on a 9 hour shift with an hour unpaid lunch, it tells them they will be using 9 hours of PTO, which is incorrect.
Additionally, many contracts require a set number of paid hours, having a way to distinguish would make verifying these much easier.

I use different types of custom event types and then export the data weekly via assembled reporting. It gives me a weekly look at how much paid hours vs unpaid hours we have in the department.
