The "keep customized events" rule when applying templates to publish schedules or update, since we have auto approval and manual updates that occur throughout the year, it would be nice to also preserve the automated events, not just the manual ones. We complete an annual vacation bid where manual adjustments are made due to turning off requests until the bid is complete. Then we open up auto approvals for remaining time available for vacation. When we extended schedules out past the end of the month, the feature removes the auto approved requests and we now have to take an extra step to audit what was approved and manually add back in.
